Cold Day
Cold Day at home, nothing really to write about. Daniel signed "more" on Tuesday by himself and has been doing it fairly regularly. Very exciting!

Entertaining Angels!
Hebrews 13:2 - Taken from the Bible Gateway.com website
New International Version (NIV)
2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
My Grandma-ma cooked for many people - more than I new, same with my Grandma Greer. Both ladies taught me how to take care of people and be nice to people no matter how they look or where they came from. I believe that is why I went into Hospitality and Customer Service. I like to take care of people.

Romans 5:1-5 Taken from Bible Gateway.com NIV
I remember a professor saying "ABC: Adversity Builds Character". I really liked that saying so I told people that was my favorite quote. Being naive, I did not know that was basically biblical. So when I was reading my bible, I came across this passage and really liked it.
Peace and Hope
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Faith Statement
I 'grew up' in the Methodist church taken by my Aunt and Granny, but I didn't seriously attend until I was an adult. I was rebaptized as an adult in my early 30s when I went from the Methodist church to an Interdenominational Church. I now am a member of Christ Community Mennonite Church and I truly believe this is where God wants me. I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe in the Trinity. I believe he died for our sins and rose from the dead. I believe that God is a just God and that He truly wants peace for our lives through His son Jesus Christ. I believe in heaven and hell. I believe in the Bible and believe it is from God, through his messengers. I believe that people should have a choice in when they want to be baptized. God created all peoples and all peoples should be included in our family. I think God is a merciful and forgiving God. I believe He wants us to recognize our faults and come to Him as a work in progress because we are sinful by nature.
